- Study: RHIOs falling short on promise
A new study shows that of 145 RHIOs getting under way nationwide in recent years, only 20 are achieving modest success, while only 15 are operating well for patients. - Sage Software signs EHR deals with pediatric groups
Four pediatric practice groups in Idaho, Michigan and New Jersey have signed agreements with Sage Software Healthcare to use the Tampa, Fla.-based company's electronic health record system. A Sage executive said the Intergy EHR system is especially useful for pediatricians because of its immunization decision support, growth tracking, e-prescribing and newborn-registration features. A joint effort between InforMedix Holdings and Consumer Health Information Corp. will focus on the development of programs to improve patient compliance in filling prescriptions and taking their medicines properly.
