- LG lays future OLED plans
LG by the end of the year will begin shipping a 15-inch OLED TV set with a resolution of 1366 x 768 and luminance of up to 450cd/m2. The company also is laying plans for future OLED rollouts, with a 20-inch model coming next year, a 30-inch version in 2011 and a 40-incher set for 2012. Digital Trends

- Horror-genre video games not so scary after all
On the heels of Halloween, research firm Wedbush Morgan Securities has come out with findings that zombies, monsters and everything else that goes bump in the night are rocking the video game industry. The company reported that revenue from horror-genre video games was $147 million during the first nine months of the year compared with $131 million in all of last year. Reuters
