  • Students call on NBC to run DTV PSA during Super Bowl
    A group of students from Elon University who helped assist with the DTV transition in Wilmington, N.C., is petitioning NBC President Jeff Zucker, NAB President-CEO David Rehr and FCC Chairman Kevin Martin to air a 30-second DTV PSA during the Super Bowl telecast. The students, who are enrolled in a course called Broadcasting and the Public Interest, planned to submit a draft PSA to Zucker, Rehr and Martin, according to this article.     Oprah Winfrey has not decided whether to continue her syndicated show after her contract expires in 2011.
