- Study indicates full-fat milk has weight-management benefits
Children who regularly drink full-fat milk have lower body-mass indexes than those who rarely or never drink milk, according to a study. "It may be the case that children who drink full-fat milk tend also to eat other things that affect their weight. Another possible explanation is that children who do not drink full-fat milk drink more soft drinks instead," a researcher said. FoodNavigator

The U.S. government ordered 10,000 treatment courses of peramivir on an emergency basis, but it also bought intravenous formulations of Roche Holding's Tamiflu and GlaxoSmithKline's Relenza, which are cheaper than peramivir's $2,250-per-patient price tag.
