    An Institute of Medicine panel of experts found that patients who suffer moderate to severe traumatic brain injuries are at a higher risk of developing symptoms similar to those of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. They also are more likely to have seizures, aggressive behavior, depression, and memory and concentration disorders, according to the report prepared for the Veterans Affairs Department.
