- Best Buy discounts used iPhones by $50
Consumers can buy refurbished iPhone 3G models at Best Buy for $149 and $249, a $50 discount from their original prices, the retailer said today. Buyers must sign a two-year contract with AT&T, which also offers discounted iPhones on its Web site. Yahoo!/Reuters

- Home-video sales expected to fall in 2008
While sales of Blu-ray discs cheered the market to some extent, total 2008 sales of home videos are expected to fall 3% to 4% from the $15.38 billion spent during the previous year, according to this report. Total spending on home videos, which includes rentals, also is expected to be below 2007's total of $22.9 billion. Variety (subscription required)
